2. You just colored your hair. If your eyebrows are really dark compared to your new hair color that’s a big NO NO.

The product has clear instructions included; however here are some personal tips and instructions.
Bleaching Tips
- Do not pluck your brows. Plucking can cause open pores or wounds. Pluck your brows a day before or after bleaching.
- Do not apply if skin has cuts or abrasions; postpone use until skin is fully healed.
- Do not apply Jolen after a hot bath or a steam filled room. Open pores can create sensitivity.
- Do not expose areas to which Jolen has been applied to intense or prolonged sunlight for a period of twenty-four hours after application.
- Do not use near eyes or other sensitive areas.
- Do not return mixed ingredients to the jar or vial. Always close both the jar and vial after using; store in a cool place.
- Do not use a metal tray to mix the product. It will react with the bleach. Use a
flat plastic tray or lid.
STEPS : Please read the directions/instructions supplied by the company prior to bleaching any areas of your body.
Important! Test First.
Before using this product, always make a preliminary patch test to see if you are or have become allergic/sensitive to any ingredient. Simply mix a small amount of the product as described below and apply to about a one-inch square area of your inner arm. After ten minutes, wash the mixture off with cold water. Wait twenty-four hours. If redness, irritation or eruption appears, do not use the product. If there are no signs of a reaction, use Jolen as directed.
1. Clean face completely. Tie your hair or use head band to pull your hair away from the face.
2. On the tray, measure out 1/4 tsp. accelerator powder with spatula.
3. Using same spatula, measure 1/2 tsp. bleach creme.
4. Blend powder and creme well. Mix thoroughly.
**Note: Before applying the product it is better to apply petroleum jelly around the area to bleach. This will prevent the bleach from touching your skin and causing irritations.
5. Again, using the spatula or (clean mascara brush), apply mixture to eyebrows. Apply enough to cover all of the hair, so that there is nothing sticking out.
6. Allow mixture to work for 10 minutes or less. Until you are happy with the color or lightness.
**NOTE: Watch the clock. Check the bleached area every minute until desired color is achieved, then clean off. If you only want to slightly lighten them, you may only need the mixture on your eyebrows for about 5 minutes or less. I wanted my brows to be light, so I left the mixture on for 10 minutes.
7. Clean off with wet damp cloth, cotton or tissue. Then wash face, to make sure there is no product left.
8. If a lighter color is desired, reapply and let mixture sit for maximum of 10 minutes and wipe clean.
**Note: make sure to check your eyebrows every minute. If you are happy with the color clean off.
